I've never heard of anyone fishing for crabs in Arkansas. There might be some freshwater crabs in the Mississippi River near Memphis or farther south but my guess that is your only bet for catching crab in Arkansas.
I was wondering did you mean Crawfish? Now there are lots of people that lay traps for crawfish in Arkansas and most make their own traps out of empty 2 liter coke bottles or chicken wire.
