There might be some freshwater crabs in the Mississippi River near Memphis or farther south but my guess that is your only bet for catching crab in Arkansas. I was wondering did you mean Crawfish? Now there are lots of people that lay traps for crawfish in Arkansas and most make their own traps out of empty 2 liter coke bottles or chicken wire. I also suggest reading up on the crabbing laws and limits before a crabbing trip. Good Luck!
