es. or in the channel below gem lake. there are some monsters there. cromejunky caught a 15# plus brown out of there. dummy decided to eat. and boy did it taste like crap. i don't like to eat big brown. they don't taste good. big rainbows though from under the powerplant. mmmmmm.......i remember my dad caught a 9 pound rainbow from under there on a size 18 shrimp fly. and boy was that amazin. when we open it up the meat was so rich lookin. it had more color then salmon. they love those shrimp and that is what gives them the great color in the meat and the great taste. browns are more aggresive feeds and like minnows and such. i don't know that i have ever caught a brown on a shrimp fly. i have caught lots of rainbows. but yeah that i my problem with tryin to fish bass. its to slow. lol don't get me wrong i love to fish but i like action. not sayin them hittin it all the time but crainkbaits and spinniers or jigin i just like to give a presentation not just drag a grub accross the bottom as slow as you can. that just don't do it for me. sorry guys its so long i kinda got distracted on off subject.
