Nock Loops

The D-Loop will either lengthen or shorten your draw length about a half inch so if that is no concern, worry about it. I think that it puts less strain on you bow string when you use one. The release can sometimes ware it down a bit.
Most of the new bows you can "Fine Tune" the draw length to your exact preference, so there's really no need for one. I like having one because I'm used to it, but it's really just up to you. Whatever you feel comfortable with is the way to go [Wink]
