I hate it when my Royal Wulff lands upside down. I have yet to catch a fish with it that way. Does not seem to be a popular position with the fish.
It baffles me how those really small dry flies consistently land upside right. I would think that twist in the tippet material and wind currents would cause them to land catawompus.
Hey DryRod, you could glue a couple of strips of lead wire to the top side to get it to flip over. Maybe make it shaped like a keel and pointed askew a little bit. That my get it to do some erratic motion.
