if your after trout i would say deepcreek is the place to go, last sunday 2 of us took 7 fish home all over 2 lb some closer to 3, and lost our biggest 2. They are very pink also, they do have parisites but they say that if you cook them good you have nothing to worry about, but i dont feel good about taking home the onces that are bleeding on there sides.
I havnt heard from anyone that has done any good in the late winter for perch in weston, i know early when it had first froze over they had done great right on the damn but i dont know anyone thats done good. Last couple times i have drove by i havnt seen a person even there.
