Ririe still on fire

Most things I am willing to share. The perch in Ririe are one of those things I choose to keep a little secret. However, you can only fish one mile from the dam and there are only so many places that would have suitable habitat for large schools of perch.

To be honest, the perch are a challenge I enjoy, they become more difficult with each passing day. I have heard it is because the eggs are growing and they eat less and less as there insides are compressed. Anyone know if there is any biological fact to that hypothesis?
