Corn is legal in Idaho as long as you are not chumming using it. It is difficult for fish to digest but I really do not think a single kernal is the problem. The problem comes when people dump handfuls down the hole and fish come in to hit it. I have caught fish with corn coming out both ends. I imagine it can plug them up pretty good if there is a lot of it in the water. If everyone follows the law and only uses a kernal or two I do not think it will be a problem for the fish. Certain kinds of corn are prefered by the Kokanee fishermen.
