I have the standard 7". I *DO* like the 7" over the 5", it makes it easier to see without being right next to the silly thing. I use mine in a shelter so light isnt a problem.
I aim my camera straight DOWN. Paning isnt an issue... just lower it down till you can see the jigs and call it good.
With the sale, cabelas cc money, and the $20 off purchase coupon I think we paid around $50 for ours last year. Smoking deal for a fun toy.
