Anyone tried out the Cabela's line? I already have a sonar and live by it, but have always thought about picking up an underwater cam for fun too. Curious if the remote control panning/direction is worth it? Might just buy the $99 just to have the toy in the arsenal. Dang auto panning sure sounds cool though!!
Yup, I have the 7" Cabelas. It works fine and is alot of fun. Whats really funny is I use it alot for other non-fishing thigns... drop a bolt down into an engine or something... go grab the camera and snake it down in there

Thanks for the info. Do you have the panning/direction version or the standard 7" version?
Wiperhunter - Cabela's has an auto pan version than turns the camera with a wired or wireless remote. Also shows you the direction. I would really like one, but don't know if this feature is worth paying $299 vs. $99 (5.5")/$149 (7") for the other models. Leaning on the 7" non panning version right now.
For those that have them, is it worth it to go from 5.5" to 7"? Is the extra screen size worth it or a non issue?
