I haven't heard of auto panning, how does it work?
Littleutahbill-As the others have said, it can be fun and useful in shallow water the deeper the water the shorter the distance you can see. At Bear lake where the water is very clear, I have used it in 60 ft of water but by far it is more useful in water that is 10 to 30 ft. It is fun to watch the fish and how they act when you are jigging and dead sticking. Fuzzyfisher put up some video footage that he took last year that is pretty cool and you can get a good idea what you will see when using one of the underwater cameras. If you can't find it, ask him, I'm sure he can give you a link to it. WH2
