Steelhead fishing Boise River

The steelhead planted in the Boise tend not to move far. Look for them at Ann M. right where the trail from the parking lot heads down to the river. Early morning is the best time. One guy who successfully fishes it a lot actually uses worms. Your techniques should work fine. Better success than the fly fishermen, probably. Good luck. Too much like combat fishing for me!!
