Ok, so you are nearby. You can go to Mukilteo and there is a boat launch there. There is also a fishing pier to fish from. People do catch crabs nearby, and I believe sometimes from the pier too.

Make sure to follow the crabbing rules for minimum size, sex, season, etc. I've gone out from Mukilteo with a friend and caught some this summer - I have the black fingernail where one grabbed me to prove it. :-D Had some delicious crab cakes!
