I am looking at fishing many of the same kind of lakes this summer. I do not have a lot of personal experience with Idaho high mountain lakes because as my name implies I fish the Windrivers in Wyoming every summer.
You could try lake aldouis sp? out by Kilgore. There is pack
dle out of the Teton valley. Horseshoe lake is not a hike but it fishes like a high mountain lake at times out of Ashton.
I will be fishing several yellowstone lakes this summer. Grebe lake is one of my favorites for Greyling. My wife is getting my yellowstone license for fathers day.[
