Thanks, I have been trying to catch a hammerhead for so long, I have hooked up with a large one on a hole mullet before but you know what happens when you hook an estimated ( it jumped 250 pound hammerhead on 30 lb test with 200 yards on the reel. I want to try to upgrade and have gotten good info for a 30lb rig from tuben2 but i want somthing alittle bigger too for that 8 footer. I was the thinking something on the line of a 9/0 senotor (senators are in my price range) and a 6 foot rod. This will be for a boat and im thinking of putting 80-100 lb test on it. If you have any suggestions please tell.
