Fireline, anyone had this problem?

I did in fact have some problems with the Fireline, but not from the knot giving way...I had problems with what apparently was a bad lot according to the manufacturer.

I have switched over to the Stealth braid and have not had any problems since.

I prefer the Palomar knot for all braids, regardless of the manufacturer/brand...as for monofilament line, I use the double improved clinch knot and nothing else.
