Had a nice day at Jordanelle on Sunday. Fished the north side of Rock Cliff along the submerged trees in 16' of water for steady perch fishing (as long as the sun came out from the clouds). The bass were mixed in with the perch...they would follow the perch all the way to the boat.Ended up keeping 30+ perch from 8" to 11".Let go probably 30 more plus 11 smb's.We caught all our fish on 1/8 oz.jig heads with a 2" white curly tail tipped with a piece of worm.I got one 19" bass, I'm guessing 4lbs.Heck of a fight on 4lb.test.3 other bass were 14"-16" and the rest were dinks.I was really encouraged with the perch population...haven't seen it this good in a couple of years. There were perch in every tree and brushy area on both sides of Rock Cliff. The power squadron got the area pretty rolled up.It got my little tin boat a rockin' and rollin' so we left at noon. They were well behaved however, and kept their distance.
