my favorite too, when I break a line I can be back fishing in a pinch, but as impressive as the polimer knot is those atlantic salmon are just a tad better... when you tie in to one of them 30 pounders and see a polimer come untied you will wished you had tied a silmple little knot in the tail... (the polimer knot was the knot I was refering to when I mention tieing a no slip knot in the tail end)
I was using that knot last fall when I was tearin in to a school of salmon.... boy howdy did they make me feel like a freshmen back in high school.... I battled about twenty of them before I pulled one in... just wait till you see your fish jumping 3-4 feet out of water... if you can take a vidio camera,,,, cause no one will beleive your fishing stories when you get home.....[
