I think it was around a 25:1 ratio. I just ran whatever was marked on it. Like I said, we only ran it for a few minutes in a garbage can full of water. When you run it, listen to it carefully. If it develops a rattling sound, that's bad. 
Oil mix isn't enough. However, if you throttle it up and it bogs down, the mix may be too rich. Two-cycles are tricky beasts and I wish I knew more about them. (have 2 snowmobiles that desparately need tune-ups, too. But they are also 2 cycle and I don't know enough to do it myself.)
