Well said, and so true! We do the same. Always some memory to relive, rehash, and more often than not, laugh at. Our most memorable moments seem to be our mistakes, blunders, and the ones that got away.
I love hearing (and lately rehearing) those memorable moments from my dad. When it was pouring on us on Tuesday, it reminded us of floating the Green River as a family and getting poured on as we floated. My younger siblings were crying, mom and dad were laughing, it was miserable...but unforgettable. Back then bait was still legal and we caught a lot of really nice fish. My dad caught a 25" brown that day, what a fish!
