Happy to share! I long line and run a 30lb braid on my rods, connected with a bead and snap swivel to 2 feet of 15 lb mono leader connected to a macks flashlite or a teardrop shaped dodger with another 16 inches of leader to a wedding ring, spinner, or hoochie. Tipped with a pink maggot. I use sliding weights so I can easily adjust depth by changing out the weight as needed. On this particular day I was running about 5-10 feet deep since we saw lots of surface activity I figured the fish were up shallow and I was correct. On my line counter we were out between 120 to 150 feet behind the boat.
