		I would like the opinion of anyone who fishes ultralight regarding a reel.  I'm torn between the Shimano Symetre, the Penn Captiva, and Bass Pro Shop Johnny Morris signature series.  Best model for the money is my aim.  I'm also a lefty, so it needs to be reversible.

		i just bought the shimano reel. wow its good so far. i havent fished any of the others but this one is awesome. just my 2 cents worth. [sly]

		I'll add my two cents here also.  I have the Shimano Symetre and it is a very nice reel.  Durable and very smooth.  Don't worry about the reel giving you much of a problem at all.  I have not fished with the other two reels mentioned, so, I can't truly compare them fairly.

		About four years ago I bought the 1000 model of the symetre. I have it on an ultra light rod with 4lb line. I have put it through a lot of abuse and it is still a smooth reel. Shimano does make good reels but do others. Before you buy the Shimano take a look at the pflueger (?spelling) president.
