UL Reel - bdn06 - 11-07-2006 I would like the opinion of anyone who fishes ultralight regarding a reel. I'm torn between the Shimano Symetre, the Penn Captiva, and Bass Pro Shop Johnny Morris signature series. Best model for the money is my aim. I'm also a lefty, so it needs to be reversible. Don't worry about the reel giving you much of a problem at all. I have not fished with the other two reels mentioned, so, I can't truly compare them fairly. I have put it through a lot of abuse and it is still a smooth reel. Shimano does make good reels but do others. Before you buy the Shimano take a look at the pflueger (?spelling) president.
