Flaming Gorge
#1
We were hunting over the weekend at Flaming Gorge (Sheep Creek area) and stopped to do some fishing in the middle of the day.  We caught as many rainbows as we wanted and even a couple of cutthroat trout just tossing a gold kastmaster.  We probably got one every five casts or so, just fishing from shore.

Pretty wild fishing and pretty wild catching in some pretty wild weather.

Sounds fun. Were any of the trout over 20"? Were you hunting deer or elk?

No, the biggest rainbow was about 15". We were after deer, but couldn't find anything but does.

We hunted the Brownie lake area for many years for Elk but never tried it for deer.

I got a pretty heavy bodied three point in there last year.  And, there's a lot of waterfowl and fishing to do.  It was a good time.
