Flaming Gorge - BoatBallast - 10-13-2025 We were hunting over the weekend at Flaming Gorge (Sheep Creek area) and stopped to do some fishing in the middle of the day. We caught as many rainbows as we wanted and even a couple of cutthroat trout just tossing a gold kastmaster. We probably got one every five casts or so, just fishing from shore. Pretty wild fishing and pretty wild catching in some pretty wild weather. Were any of the trout over 20"? Were you hunting deer or elk? RE: Flaming Gorge - BoatBallast - 10-14-2025 No, the biggest rainbow was about 15". We were after deer, but couldn't find anything but does. RE: Flaming Gorge - wiperhunter2 - 10-14-2025 (10-14-2025, 02:54 AM)BoatBallast Wrote: No, the biggest rainbow was about 15".
