Kind of new to BFT, not sure how to work it entirely yet. So how deep are you targeting the pike? What are you using to pick them up through the ice? Thinking of going down there on the 18th. What was the ice like?

Try using chub meat. I have heard both whole and cut up work.
today they were in about 20 feet of water. a pearl tube jig 2 1/2 inch tiped with a 1/2 a red side shiner was doing best..
