willard wipers

Usually I’m in a green flight suit, huge army back pack because I feel like I need everything. Asian American to PC (not oriental, anything oriental is referring to a product, this is an inside joke so no offense to anyone). And yeah, a white wife beater shirt on my head because my hair is long to keep it out of my face. Growing it out to donate it to locks for loves. I’m heading out there in a minute. I guess the Easter bunny is suppose to be leaving me a 30" Walleye there.
Well, thats the rumor… or maybe a Tiger Muskie lol.

Here is a link to a post TD made some years ago about posting pics, hope it helps:

I don’t know if I’m much help because I haven’t been to willard for a couple years. But I’ve done well throwing 3" white curlys with 1/8 ounce lead head. The color of the head didn’t seem to matter. I’ve never fished the marinas. I’ve only fished the west part along the dyke. I’ve caught some nice wipers just casting straight out from the rocks and even a pretty nice smallmouth bass casting parallel with the rocks. When you find them, its seems like they’ll pretty much hit anything. Good luck to you!

Hey thanks. I’ve have actually read this before and I actually understand coding and html. Very efficient with the majority of all Adobe software. It should be simple enough to find the image in the folder where I have it stored on my hd and upload. Very basic like any other social network or photo site. But not sure if it’s the hosting, servers, cache full, and etc… but again, this is my opinion and maybe the IT should look into it. I’ve posted images in the past before so it could just be a gliche. But thanks though. I’m going to try to post an image here shortly.

Here you go, just got back about an hour or so ago. Got quite a few PM, hope it helped everyone out.
I was trying to give you all 3 size ranges lol, but I didn’t catch a small enough one.
Released about 10 of them, but spent some time trying for walleye and really wasn’t paying too much attention to my second pole for the Wipers. I know I missed at least another 5-10. Fish weren’t self setting because of how flimsy my ultralight is. If I was using my med-heavy, it would have set it on it’s own. But oh well.

Nice fish, sounds like you gott’em dialed in. Well done. J

Was out last night in the storm and hooked up about 10. Got there about 3ish. It started to turn on around 8PM when the storm hit. All were big around 6lbers each. Had to go around 8:30 PM when light was almost out and didn’t have any rain gear. Sorry, no pics; too busy catching and was trying to get back in the water. Literally hitting the bait as soon as it’s dropping so just cranking back on the ultralight holding the rod in my hand.
Grab some rain gear and got out there today about 5PM today and left around 9PM. Hooked up about 15. Water was a little calmer but still good. Light taps so I just hold the pole. All different sizes today and kept one fair size for lunch.
And for those who didn’t believe and will know what I’m talking about. I used the garlic and butter ones today lol. Some high class fish, but worth the fun.

Nice fish, fishing from shore, tube, boat or…? thanks!

So jealous
