white bass in Deer creek

yeah well mother-Nature does some strange stuff some times! and she dont care if it’s ok with the DWR or not!! [crazy]

This then brings up other possiblities.

When was deer Creek damn built in relation ship to when Whities were introduced into Utah lake..
Without Deer Creek damn the lower provo river water wouldnt be nearly as cold.. Its well know that whities will travel up stream to spawn and feast on the spawn of other species.

**Deer Creek dam finished construction in 1941 - the power plant installed in 1958.

Could some or most of the lakes have been planted by birds and not the buckets???

Maybe that is how the chubs keep showing up or perch and so on…[crazy]

My dads pond in Florida is all naturally stocked by fish eating birds. He has bass, bluegill, talapia in there all dropped in by birds.

Windriver

Usually the stuff that I see seagulls dropping is white and lands on the hood of my truck after it has just been washed or waxed.

I think its a conspiracy…The fish have an underground railroad going on.[crazy]

not my buisness..but what about the birds.theve been known to stock alot of lakes..so ive been told

I have often wondered if fish eggs could hitch hike between some nice wet feathers on a bird. Has anyone heard of this? (I mean if a bird can carry a whole fish for miles, wouldn’t an egg be a piece of cake?)

thats the same story ive heard..never got an explanation of how either..

I have absolutely heard of this, I have a friend who is from down south. ( Louisiana) and he has witnessed many times a small puddle or pond that was formed and in a few short months, that same pond that had no fish in it had all sorts of species swimming around, the eggs get on the birds, they stick to their feet and their feathers and the mud. Actually quite cool.

This is some cool stuff, and here were blaming the bucket bios…
