Hey Poncho, I read in your post a couple days ago that you were useing a chartruse jig head tiped with night crawler for walleye at Willard. From thew looks of your picture you must be doing something right.
When you retreive your lure do you jig it or just real in in slow? i’ve heard both ways and was just wondering what worked best for you??
I was reeling slow and letting it hit bottom. I guess what I’m trying to say is I was hopping it back to the boat off the bottom. With the water as low as it is there’s very few snags. All of them I caught were males and they still had milk, but the spawn has to be about over at Willard. So doe’s anyone know where the spawn stands at Jordanelle or Deer Creek.
Keep posting pictures like that and I will find an excuse to go and visit my daughter who just moved there. Man thats a nice fish and it has been far too long! Now if I can only convince the wife … I know take her with me, drop her off at the kids, head over to San Diego, look up the relatives, and go fishing. Think she’ll miss me for a few days? If she does can I blame you for the fevor? or will ya let me camp in your backyard till she cools down LMAO
