But I have heard that if the attachment is opened, then the screw worm virus gets into their e-mail system and causes all kinds of havoc.

G’day to all fellow anglers.
A brief note to let you know that there are a few nasty e-mail viruses getting around at the moment.
One starts off by saying “Hi how are you” or “here is the information you requested”. Do not open the attachment.
Just trash it.
If you have current, and up to date, anti-virus software then run that across these, and other attachments, first to make double sure about the contents.

Up till today I thought the Sircam virus had run it’s course and gone from cyberspace.

I received this today, the name appeared familiar, but it said requested info. Deleted, i didn’t even open it..

I simply have a policy of not opening anything that is an attachment (unless “absolutely” necessary).
How did you get on with the UBB codes for hot wiring links etc?
