It’s good to hear that you got a few at least. 
Getting skunked is a drag… specially with little ones. But yea… my experience is that we really have to move around to find the schools. Usually not too far, but definitely out of casting range. [;)]
I’ve been told that there is something about trolling that works for walleyes. My hat’s off to those that catch 'em on purpose! 
They’re great as table guests, but as for fun to bring in - I’m still partial to the kitties! With the calm weather lately, I hope to get out and find some this week.
