I like the way youâve done your Cardiac. I have the big brother of that thing - the full deck aircraft carrier version. Although, I have mine a little more customized than yourâs(there are some photos of it on TDâs picture board), I do like how your motor is set up. Iâve thought about doing something like that, but the expense of the new motor has been prohibitive.
Now, I might have to invest in a newer one rigged for auto pilot. That way I can stand up while I fish and drive at the same time.
BTW - is that the âstandardâ diamond plate deck under your seat, or did you use plywood and cover it with carpet ? I couldnât tell from the photo.
It is aluminum. I first put it on and thought this is going to get warm and bright in the sunny summer, so I covered it with outdoor carpeting and sprayed the under with black undercoating so no reflection from down under. Went with the aluminum to keep weight down. The whole boat (without battery and motor) weighs under 70lbs. I can lift it, but have a problem carrying it cause of size. My olâ man can carry it over his head.
Fishhound, I checked out your boat picture. Thats a Cardiac Canyon frame you have. What are the 'toons? They look like the dual toonâs like on thr olf Outcasts PAC 12âs, or- are they 4 single pontoons?
