Just a heads up to anyone who would like to fish for some Yellowtail, white seabass, and calico bass at San Clemente Island. The Tide Change will be leaving Thanksgiving evening at 9:00 p.m. from L.B. Sportfishing for the low low cost of $80.00. The trip will return Friday the 23rd. around 6:00 p.m.

Hey Mike,
Fishing has been very good at Catalina and San Clemente Island. We have been experiencing some of the best Calico bass fishing we have seen in a while with many of the days our boats limiting out with no problem. They have been very nice fish too… up to 7-8 lbs.
There is still plenty of live squid available which has also helped in catching some nice big yellowtail up to 35 lbs. and some white seabass up to 40lbs.
I wish that I could make this trip but I am in a golf tournament the day after Thanksgiving. Let me know if you would like to go.
