It was good to meet you Wyoguy and TopH2O. Glad you were able to get into them. I went and checked out Starvy this morning with BIGbites and a couple friends and their young sons. We received rain and very wet snow last night and it made the ice real sloppy and the edges even much softer. We didn’t feel like sloshing around in the slop so we didn’t attempt it. These forecasted warm temps the next several days definitely aren’t going to be good for the ice. I’m hoping to get out one more time on Starvation. I think tuesday will be the best day for me. Let me know if you decide to go Mike. If not, At least I have the Berry and Gorge I can hit the next few weeks before we hang it up for the season.
We decided to go on Monday morning because of work conflicts with one of my friends. I think this could be the last trip of the ice season for us. I’ll get there again with the boat when the lake opens up.
Gary and Rowdy are also coming on Monday. If you can swing it, come over. Aren’t you supposed to get furloughed for one day a week? Might as well go fishing.
[;)] Mike
I think you may be right[;)]. Not a definite, but I’ll probably see you out there Monday then.
What area are you guys fishing tomorrow Mike?
Curt, going to the West end of the Indain bay campground to get on the ice. We will only be about 100 yards out.
Thanks gary for the spot on info. sure do appreciate it. Fishing was ok today but the bite was early and petered out quickly. Had a great day, very calm breeze and no glare ice, good luck tomorrow.
