Soldier creek then Flaming Gorge and Sturgeons

Very cool! Keep it up keeps you young!!

Congratulations Robert on some fine trips. I sent you a text message.

Way to go Robert, sounds like this warm weather has you getting out earlier than normal.  Reeling up those big sturgeon is a lot of work, especially when doing it all by yourself. Keep it up, you are doing better than a lot of us.

Got to hand it to you, at 82 being able to prep, drive, launch, and fish like you do! I’m sure it keeps your mind and body active and in good shape. Never mind losing a little strength along the way. I enjoy reading about your fishing trips. Keep it up!

Strawberry ant what it use to be I catch more rainbows than kokanee Catch a lot of fish but not every thing I want

then 3 of us went to Flaming gorge first time I was there this year so took a bout 3 stops to find the Kokanee then it was good
had something happen that I have never see. wind was about 20 mph white caps was trolling with my big 200 hp motor
saw a school of kokanee on my live scope starting at the front of the boat go past the downrigger ball past the dodgers and squids
with out even looking at them, they went off the screen I looked at my speed and it was 2.1 mph, put it in (N) coasting the kokanee came
back on the fishfinder screen and 4 poles wet off was reeling 3 in the other kokanee was coming out of the water we got all 4 in the boat.

Then Mon and Tue went to Idaho for Sturgeons went alone I’m 82. last year I could lift 80 lbs. this year maybe 40 lbs.
first time this year I stopped wright on top of them Mon It was like hook one it takes from 16 min to 30 min to get the sturgeon in
then get my two poles back out wait 15 min and catch another one this went on till 12 and I was so tired I had to stop fishing

then Tue went back to the same place and the same thing catching got me tired again this time I went home at 11 am

something went wrong the way I posted the image any way this is live scope one snap is at 8 am the other about 10 AM they are under
the boat you can tell about how long by looking at the top there about 6 to 7 feet long . one pole I would cast it about 40 feet out
the other I just let it down next to the boat It was catching 4 fish to the others one

this is my 20 yr old granddaughter she is in Mexico right know not sure what kind of fish this is
