I talked to my friend who has a cabin close by and he said they had 4ft of snow at his cabin so who knows.
I have to drive some folks up to North Forty to snowmobile this morning. I will be in a company vehicle so I won’t go any farther than I think a car can, but I will report back how far that is.
Maybe the outfitter will have some info. I will ask.
Ended up not driving up - I guess my wife has better sense than me - but I am taking the fishing club out today and wed. Will let ya know how it goes
I did drive up the road a way.
It was hard icepack for the first few hundred yards of road beyond the bridge where the river goes underneath right at the beginning.
Then it went soft and looked like it was getting deeper.
My plan was to drive as far as 2WD would get me then shift into 4x4 and back out. I followed my plan.
I would say it is still snowmobile or tracked side by side territory.
txs for the intel
Been such an odd year that I was pondering driving over to see where the snow/mud line is going up the road to S&M. I expect all I would mange to do is get good and stuck but anyone heard any chatter about the road
