Shrinking Starvation 8-8-12

I read your report on the whities. Glad you got the troops into some fast action. But if it took you two hours to fillet only 40 white bass you need an electric knife and some lessons. Should be no more than about a minute each…usually less.

Do they make a sharpener for an electric knife? I have put the blades together and run them through a draw sharpener. It does ok, but I was wondering if anyone has a special sharpener they use?

Let me know when all you guys stage this fall floatilla assault on Starvy.

:sunglasses:I use a small EZ Lap diamond hook sharpener with a rounded rod. I just give it a few strokes in each grove of the serrated blade…focusing on getting the points sharp.

**Looking at a float tubers club floatilla and fish fry on Starvy on Friday the 7th of September. **

Thanks for the tip … I even have one of those hook sharpeners.
I’ll look at the TNT board for details on the 7th.

That Friday is the day before the starvation classic tournament. You may have some competition from guys prefishing. Maybe I will see some of the BFT tubers there friday and say hi, or stop by my camp and have a beer…[fishin]

:sunglasses:Hey Mike, thanks for the heads-up on that one. I resigned from Masochists Anonymous so I think it would probably be better to plan another time or another venue. Hasn’t been molded in Powerbait yet.

Good luck…but you are pretty good at making your own luck. May the force be with ya.
