decided to give scofield a try in the afternoon. Arrived about 1:30. Sunny and no wind, great weather. We took the 4-wheeler so we could get away from the crowds: what crowds? There was only 4 other people that we could see. fished in 9 ft to 12 ft of water. A little slow but we managed 7 rainbow, most on the small side, 2 cutts and three tigers. The biggest tiger was 20 inches. Most were caught on tube gigs. When we left the edge by the boat ramp was a little melted but still solid enought for the wheeler. The ice is a good 2 feet thick and only a little snow on top. There will be ice on for a while yet. ---
