Out here we are allowed 5 “hooved” critters on 3 acres.. That means 3 horses in our house.. Used to be 3 horses and 2 goats.. The goats are in the freezer now because they were eating the horse’s tails.. Makes me rememebr to behave around the wife.. [angelic]
Even three horses is too much for 3 acres IMO.. But I don’t really get a vote..

I’m not much of a goat eater, never did aquire a taiste, not even for the milk, and the only goat cheese I can eat has to be put in lagsauna before I will get near it… Now frog legs… I can eat them by the dozen… the hard part is keepin them in the fryin pan…
I quit the electrical feild one year short of my journeymens card , so I had to hire a contractor to do the service changeover ( inspection required ), the rest is just a simple rewire of the house .
Underground would be great but imagine the roots I would have to go thru . Those trees are right in the new lines path .
those were some beutiful trees, to bad they had to come down, If I remember the branches were getting close to the house, meaning the roof wasnt breathing properly…

as far as running the stuff, I do all the grunt work then hire out an electrition friend to do the hookups for inspection sake… I wont connect any thing from the box to the pole but will do every thing on the inside of the box, still then I have my unkle come over and look over the connections so I can have a licensed electrician say he did the work. Being in the feild you know how that works… he is always happy to do little things like that for me, cause he cant never leave my house with out at least a half dozen fish frys…
Nope, not bartering, he gets them regardless of why he is over, and yep, he gets them for birthdays and christmas… Reason is I am sitting on his dads fishing hole where many of fish frys over the years came out of and now he lives in tawas… The gills always seem to taist better out of this spot…
The small campers still there , but it’s in the process of becoming a hunting / fishing camper , all the toys will be at my beck and call whenever the urge to take off for the weekend hits me

The water heater gave up the ghost this week , a on demand water heater is my “sometime this weekend , gotta be done” project [crazy], will it ever end !
The contractor will be doing the service change , I will rewire the house from there . I was doing mostly industrial wiring and explosion proof , some residental and comercial . The warning lights on the radio towers at the old ren-cen , guess who used to change the bulbs up there

I think some times its cheeper to plant two gardens, one for me and one for the freezer deer…
