# Salmon dam today 8/29

My friend and I caught 25 fish today. All but 3 were released to grow more. We were bottom bouncing in 15 to 20 ft of water in the back waters of Salmon Falls Reservoir. Water had a lot of algae which made trolling fun. 19 were walleyes from 5 to 17 inches. 6 were perch many over 6 inches. Nice to see the perch numbers this year.

The algae is really bad at Salmon Falls. Managed to find some fish but spent a lot of time pulling slime off our gear. Caught my first golden trout which was pretty cool!
