pontoon trailer

the motor is sitting a little too low to be mounted :sunglasses:

Ok. You want an nice setup?
See if you can top this one. It’s right up your alley.

That one is nice. Not much difference " in function" than mine. I bet it is lighter than mine is. That trailer would carry my ATV or my Motorcycle but not both at the same time. I want a trailer like in that picture but big enough to carry two ATV’s. The problem is length. One with sides like this one is going to be 14 to 16 foot long. That is too long I think. A side load ATV trailer would be about 10 foot long but no sides. SO the other stuff sits out in the open. So far I haven’t seen what I I want to trade up to. This trailer in the picture is a 10 but I need a little more out of the trailer than just a boat transport. Ron

Those Atv and Bike are going to change things for sure.
Another nice thing about this trailer is you could deflate the pontoons and MAYBE fit the frame IN the box, or maybe break the frame down, but anyway, the boat would be out of sight.

NOW THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT! Well thought out design!

It really is isn’t it. Sorry to say I can’t take credit for it. I saved the pictures but I can’t remember what forum I got them from. I’d really like to give credit where it’s due, but if I remember it, I’ll post it.

OMG !!! Thats is WAY cool !!!
I just love that trailer. Must have …
Thank you for posting that.

Peter

You might want to look at the way the Jumping Jack Tent Trailers are designed. Not so much of the tent part, but for how the atv top is done.

COOL!

Sportsman’s Warehouse sells them here. The two guys in the blue boats at lake C had over by our camp site. Turned out we know the guys, or they knew me from the fly tying shows.
Basic camping, still need stove, not sure if you need mattresses for beds.
Bit pricie too.

Mojo,

I remembered seeing that same trailer when this post started and I searched all over the place trying to find the link but couldn’t do it. I thought it was from this forum somewhere.

Thanks for posting it. I may have to model my trailer purchase after that one.
