[reply] I told the old man to order a new camera for his B-Day. He puts up such a fuss, but then he said I will look that much better with this new camera, so how could I say NO. Dry Rod you might be familiar with this one, he ordered the Canon EOS Rebel XT or 350D and it does come with the polorized filter. It also has the feature that you just HOLD the button down and it keeps snapping away instead of having to keep pushing the button. Should be a real nice camera…they sure have come down in price, now if we can just get the overseas Pharmasutical (sp) companies to come on over, our medications will be almost affordable
Hey there FGD I traded in a Canon T90 [top of the line at the time of purchase] and all of my lenses for a Digital Rebel. Got to the point that I couldn’t see clearly enough to focus in on my subject matter. Ah auto focus is the only way to go. Now you need to get your significant other a long telephoto lens. I have a Canon EF 300mm IS 1:4 lens that I use for taking pics of wild life. Though one can get a nice boo for what that sucker set me back. I shot this Ram with the 300. He was some distance away. When the fishing is poor there is aways something to shoot. Pics that is.
M55 maybe 100-150 yards. Hard to guess as I was about 75 yards to the bottom hill and he was near the top. I did use the RAW imaging format so that I could blow the picture up and then crop it.
**Anyway, looking forward to see what all this camera can do. Quote!
Hey FG. I would be carefull with that thing at first. After all, it did make your fish look bigger than they really are and it turned your hair red!!

cool..he’d be well within the range of the one rifle my son in law has.. course he’d also be very safe if I was the one taking the shot at him with said rifle…
