b mack i dont even know how to get them from the camera to tthe computure. shell be here in a minute it is a nice slab it measured 12 inches long and 7 wide as jesse ventura would say crappi as big as your face.
We were out there today. Scratchy fishing. 3 wipers and 2 walleye. None worth a picture. 3 fish on boards and two straight out the boat. Saw WH2 and Wiperslayer and they report 8 fish caught.
we caught 4, 2 wiper 1 eye about a 4 pounder and the crappie we graphed alot of fish in certain spots. but they were hard to make bite had to do some weird stuff with the middle rod to get them to hit.

You nailed my agenda right on the head. I’m actually a secret agent for PETA, we have indefinate data proving planer boards and boats are harmful to the emotional and psychological health of fish.
I also don’t get throwing a baited hook out just to sit there and wait for a tug tug on my line, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find me bait chucking once in awhile. Just curious what the attraction was, to me those planers just seem like to much work.

Hey Jess – maybe we should have tried a different approach for the sturgeon – we couldn’t have done any worse!
I guess I should have used a planer board.
We sure could have – there are always four of them under the rear seat of my boat. I agree they are a pain (especially the larger boards) to fish with, especially if a board happens to dive, but at times they make a big difference on whether or not fish are caught. Also, if one is going to attempt to troll with four rods (only takes two guys with second-pole permits) they make it possible without numerous fishing line tangles.
