At least yours was a bass. I caught a mudcat up there on a similar size lure while I was trolling for a tiger.

hey way to go. now a real man would have not needed that thing you have to hold the fish. “real me lip um” picked it up down in a spot close to where we have got a few last week. but most are still coming from my spots. A few know where I like to fish. I kind of showed you. anyway way to go. did you try any musky killer moose spinners? we have picked someup with them on the troll.
Well, I had another great day up there. Biggest smallmouth was just over 2 lbs, lots of nice fish, and a few small ones.
All the bass I caught were topless, and that was exciting enough for me.
The old man got a nasty carp, and we saw one tiger cruising the surface with his head out. Funny thing is he was in about 50 ft deep water. Never seen one do that so far from any shore.
