Heading up to Pineview on SAT AM. Plan to be there at sunrise and try a little perch and crappie action. I will be in a DX4000 shanty in the Narrows or may work my way over by the marina. Stop by and say hello.

Gusman

Hey Gusman, we were planning a trip there too. Have you heard the ice conditions? I was planning on bringing a machine to drag the junk. It has been cold but snow can insulate the slush. Anyone with any info would be appretiated. I will bring a camera and post a fishing report. Thanks, Fish On.

Well got a late start to the fishing trip and the Narrows parking was packed so we wandered around to Cemetery Point and fished on the north side. We were there from about 1030 to 1630. The bite was light and only managed to pull in 8 perch. 2 went 10" and the rest were 6 to 8". Swedish pimple tipped with wax worm and then perch eyes, ice fly with perch eyes and a ratso in glow color tipped with perch eyes were what they hit on. Ice was 14 inches and water depth was 30 to 35 feet. Fish were on bottom to 5 feet above the bottom. Slow day but a great time.
