I fished Pineview last weekend, I heard crappie were biting before the sun comes up so I arrived early (2am) and fished until 730. I threw a 12 volt battery and a spotlight in my sled, I dont know if the spotlight brought the fish in or if I just got lucky, but fishing was amazing, I turned the spotlight on and set it down so it was shining threw the ice. I fished north of cemetary point in 36 ft of water, I used a green rat finky with wax worm just off the bottom. the Crappie were hitting very soft on the “drop” so if my line was slack while jigging, I set the hook. I caught 19 Crappie, 1-13", 2-12" and the rest were 9-10 inches.
