yes.you do. The gorge is a national forest service area and pretty much anywhere you go around that area that is inproved, you need it. 35.00 dollars. its good on both the utah and wyoming sides

You need a parking pass all year, but only if you are using the parking lots or boat ramps at Lucern, Cedar Springs, Mustang, Holmes, Buckboard, Sheep Creek, and Firehole.
Any other place on the Gorge that you may use DOES NOT require a pass.
