Good luck tonight. Hope you can break our streak of the small ones. Ya know last year at this time I was catching my biggest of the year. Maybe I need to go back to that spot and try it? But it hasn’t been very good to me so far this year so I’m looking for new spots. Well I broke down the baler tonight so I guess I’ll have to bale again Monday night otherwise I was going to try fishing again. Maybe the next day. Put that batch of cats in the smoker tonight, looking forward to the reward in the morning. Looks like the smoke is rolling out so I hope they will turn out ok. Did some Saturday but the smoker wouldn’t smoke. They still tasted ok, but I bet these tonight will be even better. Later J

well didn’t get out Saturday night but went last night from sunset until 2:30 am. only hooked a 18 incher. lots of bumps. I’m guessing just more of them 14 inch cats that just couldn’t get the chunk of carp into their mouth. Guess I’ve got to find a new spot. Been fishing the boat ramp just before the gate to the tour loop at the bird refuge where I caught my 28 in. Was still a beautiful night to be out.
