I’ve been having car trouble. So, I decided not to go to far this weekend. I went to the ogden river on sun. Long story short, I was completely skunked. There were alot of people fishing, all with no avail. I tried everything, spoons, spinners, flies, worms…ect. Not even a bite. Everyone I spoke with had similiar reports. So if you planned on hitting the river, I would advise against it.

Yeah, I was at the botanical garden area. That’s where I usually have the best luck.

That place gets hammered harder than just about anywhere on the river. I have always had my best luck in the canyon throwinf spinners and rapalas. 🕶

right now with high water your best bet would be worm fishing in the slower areas of the river. i have had really good luck doing that lately and its been producing a lot bigger fish than normal.[sly]

I agree, try the big hole right past the dinosour park down the step hill. Alot of people dont like to climb down there and the water is deeper. I bet alot of fish would be holed up there right now and letting a worm drift down might just do the trick.
