All trolling, we didn’t measure it, probably around 24-26", nice fish, he was really excited to catch it, was a great day.
Got up to the lake today, fishing was pretty slow, only a few bites and caught one small trout, lake is still closed to boats.

Last fall when they found mussels in twin falls again.
No, it’s downstream, most reservoirs around here are privately owned by canal companies and most everyone is a different canal company, so I’m guessing they’re looking at treatment costs if mussels were to get into those reservoirs, most of the canal companies are small and probably can’t afford to treat for mussels, kinda why I’m surprised more in this area aren’t closed again.
Yes, even if they could swim upstream I don’t think there’s a viable waterway from the river up to the lake, so any contamination would have to be from a boat.
Heard from a very reliable source that the reservoir will probably not open to watercraft this year, so if planning a trip this way I wouldn’t put it on a list, I’ll update if I hear anything else.
